Deposits and Signed Forms Due October 2

All members (new and old) must submit a $20 deposit along with the information sheet signed by a parent by Friday, October 2. Please give both money and form to any one of the student leaders or Mr. Duran. If the cost of membership places a significant burden on your family, please let Mr. Duran know.

Prospective Members Meeting on 9/24

All prospective members are invited to attend an informational meeting on Thursday, September 24. The meeting will be during lunch in room P-12. Topics such as cost, program requirements, expectations, and the conference will be discussed.

No commitment is required to attend this meeting, so bring any interested friends as well!

ISB MUN Constitution Now in Effect!

I am proud to say that we have completed the editing and amending phase in the development of our Constitution. At our last meeting, April 21, we took a vote and thereby enabled the Constitution.

The ISB MUN Constitution is a document that was created so that we may refer to a document of rules and regulations in case of a disagreement. It will also help guide the club after experienced delegates have graduated from ISB.

Here is the preamble to the ISB MUN Constitution:

"We, the members of the International School of Beaverton Model United Nations (ISB MUN) club, in order to exercise democratic principle and to benefit the individual student and the club as a whole, do pledge to uphold the ideals of this constitution."
